Case Study:
Calgary Airport,
Alberta, Canada
We are bidding on two parking garages at Calgary Airport in Alberta, Canada, with a total capacity of 6,000 spaces. The airport already has kiosks and car counting systems and is looking to PARK-KIT for a standalone parking guidance system.

To address this, we developed two tailored modules, showcasing our ability to provide customized solutions. One garage has single-direction aisles and angled parking, so we are providing an occupancy indicator at one end and four strategically angled cameras.

The second garage has straight-in parking and two-way traffic. Both garages feature four parking spaces between columns, and our modules detect vehicle presence to ensure precise guidance and maximize efficiency.

This project demonstrates our adaptability to various parking layouts, making us a strong partner for both complex and straightforward parking guidance needs.

Custom Guidance System Only

Many existing parking garages already have adequate lighting, entry kiosks, gates, and their own payment and reservation systems.
Therefore, in this case, all that is needed is a stand-alone parking guidance system.
To address this need, PARK-KIT has designed two distinct parking guidance modules.
The module in the upper left is designed for covered garages with one-way driving aisles and angled parking. Note that this module has a color-changing indicator on only one end.
The module in the lower left is intended for two-way driving aisles and straight-in parking; it features color indicators on both ends.
In both cases, the PARK-KIT stand-alone modules can monitor up to eight parking spaces—four on each side of the driving aisle. If at least one of the eight spaces is open, the indicator continues to flash green.
